I  am a full-time licensed real estate professional with an MBA in marketing from Vanderbilt University.  I chose a career in real estate after almost a decade working as a business consultant for Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) because I LOVE this business!

It is an honor and a privilege to assist my clients in what can be one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.  I take my role in this process very seriously and work tirelessly to make sure that my clients have all of the information needed to make the right decision.

My clients receive honest counsel for how to achieve their objective.  I practice intensive communication, including monthly market analysis, updates on changes to properties in your neighborhood on the day it is entered into the system, and I follow up with every agent who has shown your home and provide you with their feedback.  I create custom flyers and market intensively using the most effective channels for reaching potential buyers.  In short, I infuse my services with quality at every step in the process.

My real estate services, at a glance:

  • I specialize in Military Relocations and work with a network of real estate professinals across the United States so that I can assist my clients in the purchase or sale of their Hampton Roads home and the one in their next duty station.
  • I also specialize in Chesapeake acreage properties and have a deep knowledge of the properties that are 3 acres or more.  I am a horse lover and live on a Chesapeake Equestrian property and know what to look for when my clients are considering a property with more land than a typical suburban development.
  • I have earned my GRI designation from the National Association of Realtors.  That means that I have accomplished additional training, achieved by only 9% of Realtors.
  • I have been certified as a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR Designation from the National Association of Realtors).  That means that if you are underwater and have to sell your home, I can help you navigate the complexities of a short sale.
  • I have earned my Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation.  That means I have taken special training and have passed a certification examination for Realtors regarding the specific areas to safeguard a home buyer’s interests.  Realtors who have earned their ABR designation stand for the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation.
  • I am an e-PRO.  That means I have successfully completed coursework on leveraging technology and the internet to better market and sell real estate.
